European Division 1978 - 1991, Munich Campus
Faculty, part-time
My very first university teaching engagements were with the University of Maryland Munich Campus, where I taught music history, music appreciation, choir and theory for quite a number of years. From 1982 I also taught at the Würzburg Conservatory and from 2001-2020 at the University of Music Würzburg (Musikhochschule).
Often together with my husband Ray Carson Russell I have been a cruise ship speaker since 2006, including as a National Geographic Historian (Danube) and for Lindblad Expeditions, Hapag-Lloyd, Sea Cloud, Cunard, Viking, Princess and others. These cruises have taken us from Russia and the Baltic Sea to the European North Atlantic, Mediterranean, Aegean, Black Sea and to Istanbul. We also explored Japan on two cruises.
