Where and when were you involved with UMUC's programs (scroll down to see all)?

I first took courses with UMUC while serving in the US Air Force at Spangdahlem Air Base Germany in 1956/57. Eight years later I applied for and got a teaching position as assistant Professor at the UMCP campus Language Department. I remained on the faculty of the Language Department from 1965 to 1972. I joined UMUC in Heidelberg in 1972 as Language Coordinator and in 1981 became Area Director in addition. I continued to hold both positions until my retirement in 2002.

I first taught for UMUC on the campus of UMCP in the evening division. Dean Ehrensberger asked me in 1972 to go to Heidelberg to take over the position as Language Coordinator from Henry Vollmer so he could finish his Ph.D. work in College Park. I came to Heidelberg, Germany in July of 1972 and worked there until my retirement.
