We are sharing the news that Al Turner passed on March 10, 2023. He had a simple surgery on March 2nd. His body reacted to the anesthetic that caused an inability to recover. He passed away in peace surrounded by “his girls”.
We would like to welcome you to:
The service will begin at 3:00pm followed by a simple reception to gather and share stories from 4:00-5:00pm.
If you would like to send flowers, they can be sent to Covenant Church on Thursday and Friday from 10:00am to 2:00pm, or other arrangements can be made by calling the church office at 713-668-8830.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Covenant Church by contacting office@covenanthouston.org.

I will never forget the kindness shown to my husband, young son, and me in the early 1970s when Al and Liz Turner offered us a place to stay for a few days in Greenbelt, MD, when we returned from the European Division and were looking for an apartment to rent. I'm so sorry we lost track of the Turners and am saddened for the world to lose Al.
