Manfred was a great colleague and a wonderful teacher - I had the privilege of visiting his classes on a number of occasions. He had a marvellous sense of humour and radiated a love of life. It's hard to believe that he's gone from us.

What a lovely, friendly and intelligent colleague!  I loved visiting him while on the road and seeing him at faculty meetings.  He will be greatly missed.  I wish I could attend the celebration of his life this week.  Sincere condolences to his family.    Diane
