News from the Stuttgart Citizen, 10 July 2014 Posted Thursday, November 13, 2014 05:57 AM The party that was held on July 18 at the Community Club was put on by the professors themselves. I couldn't believe that UMUC severed ties with so many years of experience at one time. Definitely Maryland's--and the students'--loss.News & Notes – July 10, 2014July 9, 2014
Farewell to educatorsSix University of Maryland Europe Collegiate professors who have taught in the Stuttgart area for over 25 years will be leaving University of Maryland Europe at the end of July. Due to contract changes, Col-legiate Professors Ronald Taubitz, Teri Weiss and Deborah Tevis-Noelting, and Collegiate Associate Professors Brian Cann, Warren Johnson and Richard J. Powers will either retire or opt for severance packages. A farewell/retirement party for the six educators will be held July 18 from 5-8 p.m. in the Patch Community Club. All members of the Stuttgart community are welcome. Farewell cards and email from former students should be sent to the Education Center or the University of Maryland Field Office on Panzer Kaserne. |
