Jeannie Riddell was a professor at Grossmount Community College. She came to teach for the University of Maryland in 1984 (?) while on a sabbatical from her teaching position. She embraced her time in Germany and Europe as she embraced her life. Jeannie was diagnosed with cancer in the late 1980s and it looks like she beat it. However, it returned and she died just before Christmas in 1995.
